The guiding vision of the University Sales Center Alliance (USCA) is to be recognized as the international leader and standard bearer for increasing the prestige and credibility of the sales profession. The purpose of the USCA research grant program is to recognize sales research with potential application by industry and/or sales educators. Each year, one or two scholars will be chosen by a selection committee to receive a $2000 research grant. USCA grant proposals will be evaluated against the following criteria:
  1. Potential contribution that the research will make to the field
  2. Generalizability of the research findings to the sales profession and/or the classroom
  3. Potential for the research to be published in a leading academic journal
All research methods will be considered; therefore, research proposals can be focused on conceptual/theory development, qualitative, or empirical (including field surveys, modeling, textual analysis, or meta analysis). Based on the USCA Sales Center membership, preference will be given to proposals that focus on business-to-business sales environments.
